Sports Figures

Recreate up to 48 different illustrations using the wooden board and visual cards. This activity is easy to use with graded illustrations to allow children to build up their skills.

Pre-school

• Used to support the development of fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as they manipulate the wooden figure.
• Move the figure to make it look the same as a picture provided. This is to develop visual discrimination skills, the ability to look at an image and identify if it is same or different.

Primary

• This is a fun game to support a child’s Visual Motor Integration, the ability to use and learn from visual information.
• A fun way to practice following instructions and directions.
• A multi-step task to practice cognitive skills such as attention and planning to enable task completion.
• Show a picture of the figure and ask your child to recreate the figure on the board, this develops your child’s visual memory skills.
